If music is your passion, this popular club is the place for you. It offers a spicy international menu of musical acts. The house band fills in whenever there is a gap in schedule and there are powerful jam sessions after 10pm to 3am weekday evenings. Blues, rock, samba, salsa, reggae, jazz; you name it, it is likely being played. The line up changes frequently, so check at the club to find out what is on and when. There is no cover charge and it is located about two blocks south of the Rio Cuale Bridge.


What do you get when you take 25 Canadian, American, English, French, Kiwi, and Aussie girls out on a bachelorette night, ply them with beer mugs of tequila, and then set them loose in a foreign city? If those ladies wind up at Club Roxy, someone is going to end up on stage at the end of the night performing acrobatic splits while the house band rallies the crowd with their raunchy version of "Honky Tonk Woman."

Mums the word on which brave lady got up onstage. Needless to say, the energy of Club Roxy’s live performances, their potent margaritas, and the abundance of space they provide to cut a rug could well have been an inspiration for her impromptu leap into Puerto Vallarta stardom.

The club’s live R&B and Blues Rock music acts perform from 9pm till 1am. Club Roxy provides an early happy hour, where beers are incredibly cheap, but the room seems to really heat up later into the night.

If you find your tummy growling from too much exertion on the dance floor, the nearby taco shop serves tasty and cheap fare and is open until the wee hours.
